Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers can be added at any rental location and at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 5.13 EUR per day (excl. VAT) applies up to a maximum charge of 25.64 EUR (excl. VAT).
After Hours Service
After hours return is available, and the process will be explained on vehicle pick-up. Renters must advise the counter agent upon arrival if they require after hours return. There is no additional charge for this service.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement for all vehicles is 18 and all renters must have held a full driving license for at least 12 months. There is no maximum age. A young driver fee of 8.55 EUR per day (excl. VAT) applies for all renters between the age of 18 and 23.
Cross Border Policy
Vehicles can be driven in the following countries only:
Austria, Albania, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Morocco, Montenegro, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.
No additional charges apply for cross border travels. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization.
Unauthorized cross border travels will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge based on individual assessment.
Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to the bodywork of the vehicle. If CDW is not included in the reservation, the renter has liability up to the full market value of the vehicle. CDW is available for purchase if not included in the booking.
If included in the reservation, the excess amount ranges between 900 EUR and 2200 EUR depending on car class. Excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged.
Before purchasing CDW it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover: rims, wheel covers, windshield, tires, lights, crystals, interior damage, roof damage, undercarriage damage, damage from riots or civil unrest, damage from dangerous substances, damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started.
Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys, failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the country without our permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances, willful or wanton negligence.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection are available throughout Luxembourg during office opening hours. There is a charge for this service, varying on distance of delivery/collection point from the branch. Please contact your local branch for more information.
One Way Drop Policy
Domestic one-way hires are available at all locations within Luxembourg for consumer and tour bookings. Domestic one-way rentals within Luxembourg are free of charge. There is no minimum length of rental to qualify for this service.
One way hires returning outside of Luxembourg require specific authorization from the rental location. The fee for this service varies depending on the drop off location.
Renters must provide at least 24 hours-notice if they intend to drop the vehicle outside Luxembourg. Dropping the vehicle outside Luxembourg without prior authorization will result in a penalty charge based on individual assessment.
Excess Protection
Excess Protection (EP) is an optional coverage available for selection by the renter. EP is only available to purchase if CDW is selected or included in the reservation. The purchase of EP waives liability in cases of damage to the bodywork of the rental vehicle. EP does not cover damage to tires, rims and windscreens, loss of keys or misfuelling.
Before purchasing EP, it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If EP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. EP is not insurance. In cases of damage to the rental vehicle an additional handling fee surcharge of 50.00 EUR incl. VAT will apply.
Excess Protection Exclusions/Voids
Excess Protection will be voided in the event of: failure to secure the vehicle keys, failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the country without our permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances, willful or wanton negligence.
Refueling Service
Option 1 - Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas.
Option 2 - We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per liter will be equal to the local fuel prices and subject to an additional administration fee of EUR 12.00 (excl. VAT).
Option 3 - You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Miscellaneous Policy
Winter tires are provided as these are required by law. Winterization fee effective from 01-Nov to 31-Mar applies to Luxembourg rentals at rate of 3.00 EUR per day.
Pack 1 Protection
Premium Protection Package is an optional coverage available for selection by the renter. Premium Protection is only available to purchase if CDW is selected or included in the reservation. The purchase of Premium Protection waives liability in cases of damage to the bodywork, windshield, tires and rims of the rental vehicle. Premium Protection does not cover, loss of keys, vehicle interior or misfuelling. Damage to the underneath of the vehicle and/or roof due to collision with bridges, tunnels, overhanging structures, etc. is also excluded from cover, unless a force majeure can be proved.
Before purchasing Premium Protection, it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If Premium Protection is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. Premium Protection is not insurance. In cases of damage to the rental vehicle an additional handling fee surcharge of 50.00 EUR incl. VAT will apply.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either VISA, Mastercard or Amex are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Debit cards, prepaid cards, cash, checks are not accepted. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental.
The security deposit is based upon the excess on the contract. Purchase of protection products will result in a lower deposit amount. The minimum deposit is 250 EUR.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Assistance is included in the rental rate. Roadside services covered are on-site assistance, towing and onward travel to the nearest transport solution agreed with Enterprise. Customers will be provided with the Roadside Assistance phone number when arriving at the counter to collect the rental vehicle. The Roadside Assistance service provider will vary depending on the type of vehicle rented.
Roadside Protection Exclusions/Voids
Roadside Protection does not cover: misfuelling or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started.
Roadside Protection will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys, failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, or teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of Luxembourg without our written permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances, willful or wanton negligence.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a full valid driving license. All renters must also provide a valid photo ID such as a passport or ID card. A valid credit card in the renter's name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle.
If the driving license is written in a language and characters different to those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
Residents of the country of rental must provide proof of residence. Proof of residence (utility bill, credit card bill, or bank statement) must be no more than three months old. Renters who do not reside in the country of rental must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information.
Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organization.
Arrival Directions
Rental counter is located in the terminal. Follow signs for car rentals. No shuttle is required.
Supplemental Liability Protection
All the vehicles in our fleet are insured against damage or injuries caused to a third parties and third-party property as a result of an accident involving the hire vehicle. You must comply with all the rental company’s terms and conditions in order to receive the benefit of the insurance provisions.
Theft Protection
Theft Protection (TP) is an optional coverage which reduces customer loss and responsibility in cases of theft. The reduction in loss and responsibility corresponds to the excess/deductible amount noted in the policy. This amount varies according to the policy selected by the customer.
TP Cost per day excludes VAT. The deductible includes VAT. Per Day cost of TP varies between car classes and car groups. TP Cost per day ranges between 8.55 EUR and 10.68 EUR plus VAT, with a deductible up to 1000 EUR.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tyres and Rims Damage Waiver (TRDW) is optional. TRDW can be purchased alone. TRDW covers the exess in case of damage of the Tyres and Rims.
Windscreen Damage Waiver (WDW) is optional. WDW can be purchased alone. WDW covers the exess in case of damage of the Windscreen.
Contern
