Additional Driver
There will be an additional daily charge 5.95 EUR, max per rental 59.95 EUR inclusive of VAT for each additional driver. Full rental conditions apply to additional drivers.
Age Requirements
All renters must be of the age of 21 and above to rent all car groups. Renters between the age of 21 and 24 will be charged a young driver fee of 3.57 EUR per day inclusive of VAT and renters over the age of 75 will be charged a driver fee of 2.38 EUR per day inclusive of VAT.
Cross Border Policy
Cross Border Policy: Cross border rentals are allowed within the European countries and Turkey (continental part). A prior written authorization is required. There is also an insurance fee that applies and includes the green card. These kinds of rentals should be requested from Enterprise Rent A Car at least 7 working days prior to the pickup date. Please contact our reservations department for further information and the process of the publication of the green card. Minimum time for the publication of a green card is 3 working days. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance - TPI as long as it remains within the borders of the countries for which it is issued. Roadside assistance and car replacement whilst driving abroad is available at an additional cost. Towing or replacement fee is 1.15 EUR PER km and may increase in cases that is it necessary to wait; usually due to an accident.
The cross border fees are:
50.00 EUR plus VAT (Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate) - for EU countries per rental.
80.00 EUR plus VAT (Intermediate Wagon, Intermediate SUVs, Standard and Full-size) - for EU countries per rental.
100.00 EUR plus VAT (Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate) - for non EU countries per rental. Some restrictions may apply.
130.00 EUR plus VAT (Intermediate Wagon, Intermediate SUVs, Standard and Full-size) - for non EU countries per rental. Some restrictions may apply.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover: mirrors, tire punctures, wheel damage, interior damage, chipped or cracked windshield, wrong fuel, roof damage, undercarriage damage, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, theft of the vehicle or damages resulting from theft,damage from riots or civil unrest, damage from dangerous substances
Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized driver, racing or speed contest competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
One Way Drop Policy
This is available in all locations in Romania with a minimum rental length of 3 days and for specific car groups. All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one-way fee. Unauthorized one-way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. The one-way fee must be paid at the rental counter. International one ways are also available from Romanian rental offices to selected International locations. Exclusive Policy
COST OF RENTAL INCLUDES UNLIMITED KM, THIRD PARTY INSURANCE, AIRPORT FEE, WINTER FEE AND VAT..
Refueling Service
Full to full. All rental vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. Should the vehicle be returned with less than a full tank, the difference will be charged in accordance to the official rate of Enterprise Rent A Car Romania. In addition a service fee of 35.70 EUR inclusive of VAT will apply.
Insurance Policy
SLP Supplementary Liability Protection - third party liability insurance is required by law, free of charge and included in all rates. Coverage limits - third party bodily injury or death up to 5,000,000 EUR and third party property damage 1,000,000 EUR.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Miscellaneous Policy
During the winter season of 1 November to 31 March and in cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Romania all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.
Forms of Payment
Visa, American Express and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit will be blocked on the credit card and the estimated cost of the rental should be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit will be released by the cardholder's bank upon notification of return of the vehicle. The car categories Mini and Economy require a deposit of 300.00 EUR, Compact and Intermediate vehicles have a 500.00 EUR deposit, Full size and Standard vehicles require a 1000.00 EUR deposit. Debit cards and cash cards are accepted as forms of payment for the rental or to purchase additional products. The deposit must be paid with a valid credit card. Please enquire at the local branch for details.
Roadside Protection
Roadside service is available within the country of Romania. This assistance is free of charge as long as the customer was not at fault or in breach of the rental conditions. In the event the customer is at fault or in breach of rental conditions, a per kilometer charge of 0.50 EUR inclusive of VAT for Roadside service will be charged.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a valid national driving license that has been held for a minimum of 12 months along with an identity card or passport. For non E.U. renters, a physical international driving license must be presented along the national driving license
Upon the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (EU) the requirements for UK driving license holders driving in EU member states may change. Please check requirements before travelling. Government advice may be found at https://www.gov.uk/driving-abroad.
Super Collision Damage Waiver
Super Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection - SCDWTP - is an optional coverage product which covers the customer’s financial responsibility in cases of damage to the rental vehicle and reduces the excess/deductible amount to zero. SCDWTP does not provide any coverage for damages to the underside of the vehicle, inside the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors or tires. The customer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle if this coverage product is not purchased. A police statement must be presented to the rental company in the event of an accident. Without a police report the client is fully liable for damages. The customer assumes full responsibility if the damage caused is due to infringement of the road circulation code.
The daily charge and deductible amounts vary by car class. Group - Mini, Economy 15.00 EUR, Compact 17.00 EUR, Compact Wagon 19.00 EUR, Compact SUV, Intermediate 19.00 EUR, Compact Automatic 18.00 EUR, Compact Automatic Wagon 21.00 EUR, Intermediate Wagon, Standard 19.00 EUR, Standard SUV, Intermediate SUV, Full-size SUV 25.00 EUR, Standard Van 30.00 EUR. All rates do not include VAT.
Supplemental Liability Protection
Supplementary Liability Insurance - Third Party Insurance is required by law, free of charge, and included in all rates. Coverage limits for third party bodily injury or death cover up to 5,000,000 EUR and for third party property damage, 1,000,000 EUR.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP) is an optional coverage which reduces the renter’s financial responsibility to zero in the event of damage to the tires and/or windshield of the vehicle.
